Expert team of the Xinmiao Public Welfare Project conducts a series of kindergarten guidance activities in Ledu District

To deepen early childhood aesthetic education practices, promote the deep integration of local culture with aesthetic education, and enhance the quality of kindergarten aesthetic curriculum and teachers' professional competencies, on 2025 10 30, the expert team from the Xinmiao Public Welfare Project conducted a series of on-site guidance activities at Shangzhangfang Kindergarten in Fengdui Township, Ledu District, and Ledu District Kindergarten.

At the donation ceremony, a batch of art education teaching aids was delivered to the kindergarten, providing essential hardware support for art education practices in rural kindergartens. Expert teachers from the Xinmiao Public Welfare Project team conducted open-class demonstrations. Teacher Huihui's engaging classroom session impressed everyone; she communicated with children about their creative ideas in a gentle, respectful tone. This approach, grounded in equality and respect, fully safeguarded children's autonomy in their creative expression.

Professor Huo Liyan, an expert on the aesthetic education team, reviewed and guided the kindergarten's culture, environment, and curriculum practices. She emphasized that "connecting aesthetic education with local culture" must be the core of curriculum and activity design—not an add-on. The focus should be on deeply exploring how to ground activities in local culture and implement the principle of "educating through beauty" through tangible, concrete experiences.
